Arab Open University job vacancy for Assistant Lecturer at Oman

The Arab Open University-Oman Branch invites applications for the following academic positions for the academic year 2018-2019 (starting from September 2018).

Post Name: Lecturer in Mathematics

To teach different Math courses in undergraduate programs (ITC Program in Faculty of Computer Studies), applicants with sufficient teaching experience and relevant academic research publications are invited to apply.

Applicants should be having an MSC in Pure Mathematics or Statistics.

Applicants for above positions should also have:

(1) Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience in similar positions
(2) Advanced computer and internet skills
(3) Good track record of research & publications & other academic activities

Post Name: Assistant Lecturer in Computer Science / Foundation program

To teach IT foundation course: applicants with sufficient teaching experience

Applicants should be having:

* Bachelor in Computer Science or ITs.
* IELTS band-6.

Post Name: Assistant Lecturer in English Language Unit (Foundation)

To teach English foundation course; applicants with sufficient teaching experience

Applicants should be having:

* Minimum bachelor’s degree in teaching English OR in linguistics / literature with a teaching qualification like CELTA, TEFL, TEFLA, Etc. from recognized institution(s)
* Minimum GPA of 2.5/4: IELTS band-7
* Proficient user of MS office, internet, email, Etc.
