Customer Support Manager – Maritime jobs at BAE Systems

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics’ and Engineering professional to join our team at Muscat as the Customer Support Manager – Maritime.

The successful candidate will have previously been a serving office with the Royal Navy of Oman and will be accountable to the General Manager with responsibility for developing BAE Systems Oman LLC’s support business with the Royal Navy of Oman, the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard and other military maritime units.

As the Customer Support Manager – Maritime your main responsibilities will involve (but are not limited to):

• Identifying and pursuing support opportunities for in service maritime platforms manufactured by BAE Systems
• Working with the customer community to identify adjacent market opportunities
• Conversion of quotations to orders under BAE Systems Oman LLC’s long term support agreements with the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Defense
• Progressing spares and repairs orders.

As a Customer Support Manager – Maritime your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Engineering Degree
• Leadership experience as a Moqadam or Ra’ed with the Royal Navy of Oman
• Excellent communication and business consultancy skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A good knowledge of logistics
