BAE Systems job opportunity for Supply Chain Principal at Oman

Post Name: Supply Chain Principal
The successful candidate will currently be working within a purchasing/supply chain role and be able to demonstrate experience of the SAGE ERP system. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Commercial and Procurement Director with responsibility for the leadership of the supply chain activities.
As the Supply Chain Principal your main responsibilities will involve (but are not limited to):

• Managing the delivery of goods and services on time and to budget
• Development of a local supply chain
• Production and processing of Quality requests for quotation
• Negotiating favourable business agreements with both local and international vendors
• Management of change programmes
• Risk and opportunity management
  As the Supply Chain Principal your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Experience of Procurement / Supply Chain Department
• Knowledge of ITAR and import / export requirements
• Commercial and contractual acumen
• Working understanding of too! sets and IT
• Management of change programmes
• Risk and opportunity management
• Excellent communication and business consultancy skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
