Unit: Instructional System Design
Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in similar position.
  Key Role and Responsibilities:

• Work with technical industries/trade managers to develop the content for training programs
• Establish and manage certification process for training programs by ensuring that every program fulfills the competency (knowledge, skills and attitude) required to fulfill the certification requirement.
• Work with universities and technical college in partnership to ensure Centexs certified training programs meet the requirements and recognize by industries and educational institutions.
• Develop the professional development roadmap and certification programs for each industry and trade represented within Centexs.
• Organizes and facilitates DACUM workshops to obtain inputs from industry to be integrated into the training programs.
• Collaborates with international skill based associations and training providers to integrate best practices into Centexs programs.
  Competency Required:

• In-depth knowledge of Instructional System Design (ISD) process and tools
• Ability to develop certificates and qualification roadmaps
• Ability to develop and apply ISD principles to skilled-based training programs
• Ability to organize and facilitate DACUM workshops
• Appreciation of Sarawak industrial development needs
• Excellence communication and interpersonal skills

Post Name: Safety Instructor
Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Construction or Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years of working experience in safety or fresh graduate encourage to apply.
3. Registered DHO from DOSH/JKKP with valid Green Book (MUST)
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Possess practical knowledge of legislation and statutory obligations related to OSH.
6. Familiar with all safety, health and environmental rules, regulations and practices.
Job Description:
1. The person is primarily responsible for overall teaching, planning, implementation, monitoring, improvement and maintenance regarding safety and health programmes.
2. Conducting regular safety programme with student and staff (if any)
3. Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and requirements related to safety and health during teaching & learning session.
4. To advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the persons employed in the place of work
5. To inspects the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliances or process or any description of manual labour used in the place of work, is of such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person working in the place of work.
6. To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work?
7. To assist the employer or the safety and health committee, if any, as specified under sub-regulation 6(2) of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996 [P.U.(A) 616/96] in organizing and implementing occupational safety and health programme at the place of work.
8. To become secretary to the safety and health committee, is any, as specified under sub-regulation 6(2) of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulation 1996, and perform all functions of a secretary as specified in that Regulations.
9. To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purposes of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any regulations made under the Act
10. To collect, analyze and maintain statistic on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the place of work.
11. To assist any officer in carrying made by the employer or any person in charge of the place of work on any matters pertaining to safety and health of the work place.
