Development Bank of Sarawak job vacancies for Company Secretary and System Administrator

Development Bank of Sarawak Berhad (DBOS), a development financial institution wholly owned by the Sarawak State Government is inviting candidates to apply for the following positions. Preference will be given to Sarawakians.

Post Name: Company Secretary

Key Responsibilities:

Provide corporate secretarial services to the Bank according to the statutory requirements, convening of Board / committee / management meetings, timely preparation of minutes, board resolutions and other documents relating to corporate secretarial and corporate governance, filing of various returns / forms with the Companies Commission of Malaysia and provide advice and ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • ICSA qualification/a member of MAICSA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in company corporate secretarial work.
  • Well-versed in provisions of Companies Act 2016 and other relevant Acts or regulations.
  • Strong command of English is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Post Name: Senior IT System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

To manage entire banking system environment Including banking applications and overall maintenance of the entire system- related environment i.e network, server, security, operations, support, installation etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in IT / Computer Science or any relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of related working experience.
  • Experience in banking system support and operations are an added advantage.
  • Experience in handling VMware, network trouble shooting and knowledge of data base is essential.
  • Proficient with Linux operating system.
  • Ability to communicate well in spoken and written English and also possess good analytical skill.
