Metta Post Name: Baker

• Produce / bake various types of pastries (cakes, breads, etc)
• Supervise & provide vocational training for youths with special needs
• Maintain high level of compliance and cleanliness of equipment, hygiene and safety regulations
• Be compliant with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Any other duties assigned by Management.
  Requirements:

• Certificate in baking, and / or relevant culinary skills.
• Able to converse in English and respective mother tongue.

Post Name: Driver cum General Assistant (Class 3)

• Daily errands (i.e. collection and delivery) as assigned.
• Assist in co-ordination of events.
• Collection and delivery of donation boxes, food delivery for Metta Cafe.
• Collection of donation in kinds (note that the incumbent have to be physically fit as at certain instances he may be required to carry load weight of up to 25kg).
• Assist on packing items and loading onto vehicle.
• Transportation for staff.
• Cleanliness of Vehicle (including washing of vehicle at least once a month).
• Provide logistical/transportation support in events and activities such as Street Sales, Flag Day, Carnival, Auctions etc.
• Adhoc jobs assigned by Assistant HR Manager / Finance & Admin Manager
  Requirements:
  * Minimum 1 to 2 years of related experience required.
  * Able to understand basic English and Chinese.
  * Must hold a valid Class 3 / PA license.
  * Familiar with Singapore familiar roads.
  * Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
  * Hardworking, meticulous and responsible.
  * Salary will be based on experience.
  * Work reporting and ending location: Simei (company vehicle are not allowed to drive back home)

> Compile and follow up on staff training plan
> Sourcing and enroll courses, seminars & workshops for employees.
> Follow through on post training review procedure.
> Plan recruitment and explore the various platform of recruitment.
> Ensure on the job training form are completed by new employees.
> Upkeep employees’ training records in personnel file.
> Handles compile and follow up on employee suggestions.
> Generating reports on corporate cards usage.
> Monitor and compile training record and report.
> Executing recruitment, co-ordinate and conduct interviews.
> Co-ordinate and conduct exit interview.

Post Name: Community Engagement Officer
* Maintaining database of donors and volunteers.
* Identifying new sources to raise funds.
* Sourcing for sponsors for execution of events and activities.
* Plan, coordinate, promote and publicize events and activities for Metta Rehab and Metta Hospice.
* Engaging and coordinating volunteers for activities and events as well as overseeing on the volunteers’ welfare.
* Networking with external partners and donors.
* Networking with grassroots and corporate partners to co-organize events and activities.
* Attending both internal and external meetings and coordination of activities.
* To manage the donation boxes collection.
* To assist in management of the clients when necessary.
* To assist in the management of activities of the centre.
* To assist and participate in events/outdoor activities of the Centre.
* To assist and participate in Metta fund raising activities.

Staff Nurse
* To perform home visits to palliative care patients who are being referred.
* To perform nursing assessment on the patients.
* To initiate nursing care plan and implement new measures of management.
* To adjust current medication to achieve maximum symptom control under doctor’s instruction
* To work closely with the Medical Director/Outsourced doctors on the cases.
* To educate caregivers/families on basic nursing procedures to ensure comfort and care.
* To refer patients to other professional bodies such as inpatient hospice when the need arises for symptom control or respite care.
* To identify patients and families in need of financial assistance and refer to social worker/counselor.
* To identify patients and families in need of specialized counselling to the relevant professionals.
* To prepare families for approaching death.
* To provide family with the emotional and bereavement support when necessary.
* To participate in Fund raising activities when the need arises.
Requirements:
– Minimum Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent, Nursing Cert in Palliative Care (advantageous).
– Registered with Singapore Nursing board.
– Minimum 2 years of related clinical experience.
– Ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
– Hardworking, meticulous and responsible.
– Good communications/interpersonal skills.
– Able to converse in Mandarin is advantageous as some beneficiaries are only able to communicate in Mandarin.
