Post Names: Senior Engineer, Site Operations
Location: (Based in Bintulu)
Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safe operations and maintenance of internal combustion engines, abiding with the Factories and Machinery Act and Regulation.
2. Maintain a log book and complete records on operations and maintenance of internal combustion engines as per required by the Factories and Machinery Act and Regulation
3. Ensure internal combustion engines and associated safety devices are identified and routinely tested, and preventive maintenance performed as defined in SAP.
4. Provide discipline support as an investigation Team member for investigation of internal combustion engines and related equipment incidents or breakdowns
5. Coordinate and lead the Maintenance crew to provide full site technical services and technical services guidance to the Staff Superintendent and Production Superintendents
6. Liaise with offshore and onshore management, support groups and projects, ensuring good communication levels are maintained and provide operations input into all phases of the SK Oil & SK Gas Operations Production
7. Ensure all relevant safety codes and operating procedures are followed and improved to ensure that the safety of all operations is maintained
8. Provide discipline input in the planning and coordinating of all major activities in conjunction with onshore support groups
9. Provide input for simultaneous operations and their impact on the integrity of field facilities when requested, ensuring procedures are in place to act and respond effectively to any situation.

Requirements:

1. Possess an Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in static & mechanical equipment in the hydrocarbon production industry.
2. Possess a 1st Grade Internal Combustion Engineer Certificate.
3. Relevant previous employment history in engineering and maintenance
4. Familiar with engine management systems.
5. Computer literate
6. Team player with strong personal and interpersonal skills as well as flexibility to meet the fluctuating needs of operations support in a demanding environment
7. Able to communicate technical issues across all other disciplines
8. Fluent in both written and spoken English
