Post Name: Pathology Support
Responsibilities: Testing of cereal breeding and research material, organization of marker assisted selection. Collection, identification and characterization of field pathogens. Day-to-day management of pre-breeding crossing, scoring of field trials and support other service function teams
Post requires: Good organizational and communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail, ability to prioritise.
Position: Would suit an individual with Plant Science related degree or equivalent. Knowledge of laboratory techniques and field work required, with some experience of working with plants preferable. Full training will be provided.
The position at our Ickleton site is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week plus additional hours at seasonal peaks of the year. Competitive salary & benefits.
