Redborne Upper School and Community College is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire .We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A”, ‘A or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded and oversubscribed situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. * Term time only 16 hours per week Occasional overtime hours required from September, 2018.
* Level 2A Point 10-13
Salary: £15,613-216,491 pro rata
* Actual starling salary for 16 hours post will be £5,853-£6,177
Requirements:
* A General Kitchen Assistant is required for September. 2018. The successful applicant will work alongside experienced kitchen staff in the preparation and serving of school meals at Redborne Upper School. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a good understanding of food preparation and to hold or be prepared to obtain the required certificates in food safety. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important. Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
