Post Name: Estate Manager
Purpose of Job
To lead the management of the estate operation under him effectively and efficiently in accordance to system and policy.
Principal Account abilities
> To be responsible to ensure in house agronomic practices are implemented accordingly to maximize production in order to achieve Estate Performance Index (EPI) and Divisional Performance Index (DPI).
> To ensure all operational activities in the estate run smoothly.
> To work closely with the immediate Senior Estate Manager to execute the related Capital Project under estate as the Project Manager in liaison with FMS Department.
> To verify that expenses charged against are correct and have been authorized.
> Checking, controlling and monitoring of estate expenditures and make remedial action for under spending, overspending expenditures against budget.
> To continuously promote and inculcate learning culture to estate staff and workers in order to be efficient and effective towards accomplishing organizational goals and vision.
> To plan, prepare and managing the estate annual budget.
> To monitor and report actual performance against budget and report any deviation.
> To do forecast short term and long term planning and established vision for future estate directions.
> To ensure that company policies, manual, standard working procedures and financial limit of authority are adhering to at all times.
> To address the welfare on staff and workers from time to time.
> To be responsible for the company assets under his custody.
Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma holder in agriculture plantation
  • Member of the Incorporated Society of Planter will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, organizational & analytical skill & good command of written communication
  • Financial and Management Accounting.
  • Minimum 10 years experience as Estate Manager.
  • Medically fit for the jobs
  • Team work orientation and sensitively in dealing with confidential issues.
  • Experience in dealing with TKIs and locals would be an added advantage.

Post Name: Executive (Security)
Purpose of Job:
To assist in the overall administration, implementation and enforcement of site security for plantation.
Principal Account abilities:
> To plan, budget, coordinate, implement and maintain records for site security activities for the region
> To ensure all legislative requirements are complied relating to security activity and performance
> To provide professional advice of security matters, and assist the operating units in handling, managing and resolving security issues
> To assist the department in the planning, budgeting, preparation, implementation and review of the following activities.
> To perform scheduled and unscheduled security inspections, surveillance and monitoring.
> To conduct quarterly security compliance audits
> To prepare, review and update security risk profile, and aspects and impacts
> To assist in the development and review of security compliance manuals and procedures
> To report all security incident as well as lead in conducting security incident investigation
> To maintain records and documentations of all tasks/activities under his scope of works
> To help the department in maintaining the safety and security of firearms and ammunition’s at the region
Requirements:

  • Diploma in any discipline
  • Ex-police personnel with the rank of Sub-Inspector or Ex-army with the rank of Warrant Officer and above
  • Knowledge in Security Management and pertinent laws
  • Basic knowledge in using ICT
  • Good interpersonal skill, physically, medically and mentally fit
  • Possess driving licence.
