Post Name: Material Systems Operator
(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)
The Job:

• Operate and maintain forklifts and clamp trucks
• Un-stuff containers and high stack newsprint reels
• Issue newsprint based on production demand
• Assist in issuing production materials based on materials list
  Responsibilities:

• GCE N’ Level or at least 2 years of related experience in store and warehousing
• With certified forklift licence
• Able to work on rotating shifts and weekends when required
• Must be physically fit

Post Name: Material Logistics Assistant
(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)
The Job:

• Maintain newsprint inventory
• Safekeeping of newsprint rolls in warehouses
• Optimize newsprint rolls storage space
• Supervise un stuffing, stacking and issuing of newsprint rolls
• Ensure cleanliness of all containers before returning to transporters
• Coordinate with transporters on newsprint rolls movement to warehouses
• Prepare reports, workflow procedures and warehouse administrative work
• Job rotation within materials department (i.e. warehouse, store and SGV)
  Responsibilities:

• Higher NITEC with 1-2 years of related working experience
• Certified in fork lift driving preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently
• Possess strong leadership quality

SPH- Singapore Press Holdings hiring for Printing Assistant and Engineering Technician

Post Name: Printing Assistant
(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)
The Job:
Able to assist in:

• Press preparatory work
• Carrying out production run
• Performing simple trouble-shooting and rectifying minor printing faults
• Maintaining printing machines and safe working environment
• Training will be provided
  Requirements:

• NITEC Certificate / GCE ‘N’ Level
• Able to work on rotating shifts
• Must be physically fit

Post Name: Engineering Technician (Electrical)
(Based at SPH Print Centre, 2 Jurong Port Road)
The Job:
To carry out machine preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of equipment up to components level, and any other operational duties as assigned. Training will be provided.
Requirements:

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general maintenance process and methods
• Working knowledge of testing tools and instruments
• Good knowledge and understanding of various types of sensors PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and routers.
• Good Computer skills.
• Able to work on rotating shifts.
• Must be physically fit and a willingness to work overtime.
