Appointment of Chief Executive Salary package to be agreed based on experience Age Scotland is an independent charity working in Scotland to create a society in which all older people flourish as valued and equal citizens. We are looking to appoint a new Chief Executive to lead and develop Age Scotland as the country’s major voluntary organisation promoting the needs, interests, and contribution of older people, and addressing issues of age and ageing. The successful applicant must be a motivational leader and manager with Board Level experience together with a good understanding of the current issues facing Scotland’s older people. The post will be based in our Head Office in Edinburgh, with regular travel throughout Scotland and the UK. As key spokesperson for the Charity, you must possess excellent communication skills together with the ability to provide the overall strategic direction and management of the organisation and to develop and sustain external relationships with government, statutory, public, commercial, and voluntary organisations. You will work with the Board to ensure high standards of Governance.
