Healthcare Recruiter / 3970

Position Description:

Manages the life-cycle recruiting process for APS Corporate and field-based professional, IT, analytics, and clinical positions, delivering a high level of recruitment services to ensure positions are filled with quality individuals while meeting time to fill and cost per hire goals. Partners with hiring managers to develop and implement recruitment plan for open positions, and provide guidance relating to interview and selection of candidates.

  1. Performs full life-cycle recruitment functions: source, recruit, screen, interview, and offer. Collaborates with hiring manager to determine recruitment needs and effectively manage the interview and selection process. Provides sourcing strategies and recommendations to hiring manager regarding candidates for open positions.
  2. Serves as team lead to recruiting team to aid in overcoming obstacles to hiring, provide training on systems, process and best practices and co-manage contract recruiters when needed.
  3. Manages data integrity and candidate flow in Applicant Tracking System, including background checks, drug screens, rejection letters, license and reference verifications.
  4. Designs and implements additional recruiting tools, resources and ideas for effective outreach recruiting.
  • Markets the company and positions to candidates, outside vendors and community, consistent with company branding.
  • Participates in various recruitment functions, including career fairs and local sourcing events.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships at all levels within and outside the organization.

Requires:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business related field, or equivalent work experience required
Minimum 4 – 6 years full life-cycle recruiting experience
Experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred
Experience recruiting for IT (desired), Professional and Clinical required
Experience working with Applicant Tracking System (Virtual Edge preferred) and with behavioral-based interviewing techniques

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet based candidate sourcing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong reasoning, judgment and negotiation skills
