This position has responsibility for accounting functions for Boeing entities in assigned countries across the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa). responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Responsible for overall accounting functions of non operating entities in assigned countries across the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and acting as the Financial Controller for assigned entities
2. Manage and enhance existing financial and reporting processes.
3. Participate in implementation of the common finance and accounting system and processes (ORACLE)
4. Interface with external advisors and consultants
5. Work jointly with functional and supporting teams in the Region and the US.
6. Achieve operational excellence through standardization of policies and processes in coordination with other functions (Accounting/ Finance/ Tax).
7. Support Boeing’s overall finance and tax compliance in the Region
8. Support Boeing’s new businesses in their entry into the market.
9. Provide guidance to local business support professionals and work closely with payment center team in our Amsterdam Shared Service Centre.
