Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, your management and clinical skills will be invaluable as you provide day to day management to an 8 bed pediatric and 45 bed adult ER with 131 budgeted FTE’s and 300 daily visits. Bring your Evidence Based Practice commitment and lead your units in increased quality and patient satisfaction. Partner with your staff in continual focus on patient and family relationships. Develop your staff through their participation in hospital wide committees and education opportunities. The Nurse Manager of Emergency Services provides leadership and demonstrates responsibility and accountability for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments on a 24 hour basis. Ensures department’s standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.

Qualifications

State of Florida RN Licensure.
Valid BLS/CPR card, ACLS certification and PALS or ENPC certification.
Previous experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Nurse Manager, 5 years experience in acute care.
Good interpersonal & organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership skills
