Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre
Our Recreation Centres team is looking for enthusiastic and attentive individuals with a strong customer service focus to fill two Casual Lifeguard positions.

You will be responsible for:

• Pool surveillance and lifeguard patrols
• Assisting with the smooth operation of our Centre in a safe, controlled and hygienic manner
• Assisting in educating the public about safety requirements in an aquatic environment

To be successful you will have:

• Sound communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service and team work skills
• Well developed organisational, time management and problem solving skills
• A Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Award
• A Senior First Aid certificate
• A current National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

As our Recreation Centres are open 7 days a week, hours of work may be rostered from Monday to Sunday inclusive (including evening work).

This position attracts an hourly rate of $14.70 to $29.60 per hour (inclusive of a 20% casual loading) dependent on age, qualifications and experience. Additional rates apply for all ordinary hours worked on a Saturday (25%) and Sunday (50%).
