Job Description
M&A Manager opportunity in a leading regional bank. You should have a degree with about 6 years experience.

The Company
Our Client is a global bank with strong Asian presence.

The Role
Coordinate with Asian Branches / subsidiaries” relationship managers (RMs) to originate M&A / alliance opportunities for the banks Asian customers; Analyze customers” business strategies, credit, business structures, investment plans, etc. Contact internal departments / divisions to seek the most appropriate financial products/solutions (e.g. M&A advisory, acquisition finance, DCM/ECM, trade finance, project finance) to pitch for customers; Prepare presentation material and visit customers with RMs; Co-work with internal departments / divisions and make continuous visits to customers to get a mandate and close the transaction; Conduct necessary research and analytical works required for the above activities; Pursue above tasks with sincere consideration and compliance with the
bank”s internal policy and guidelines; and Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need 7-15 years experience with financial institutions located in Asian countries; Strong M&A origination skills and network in Asia, such as PE funds, M&A boutique; Strong oral and written communication skills with customers and related internal departments / divisions; Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Experience and deep knowledge of a certain financial product and industry; MBA, MS or LLM degree or equivalent or extensive relevant work experiences; Advanced levels of Excel, Word, PowerPoint (or equivalent) software skills.
Frequent business trips across the Asian countries are required; and Asian language ability is considered favorably as additional capability.

The Role
As the Head of Credit Origination for APAC, you will lead and manage the Asia Pacific team, Propose, enhance and execute Credit strategy for the region; implement regional strategies and tactics aligned with overall Credit Hub and regional objectives. Grow Economic Profit and be accountable for the performance of the Asia Pacific portfolio. Develop and promote a high performance culture in which success is dependent on an inclusive team approach nurturing key interfaces with internal parties, e.g. Regional leadership team, Risk Management and Group support functions. Drive innovation in product and process to maximize the result of the regional operation.

Sell the full range of Credit capabilities and products into the respective region (documentary trade finance, structured commodity finance, infrastructure – and project finance, surety). Identify opportunities for product and process innovation. Supports the definition of prospects/target clients and detailed sales planning across relevant markets and lines of business. Is responsible for the development of new business relationships, product and transaction opportunities in the respective region. Identifies and develops relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance brokers (i.e. regional marketing managers, products specialists, strategic account managers, program managers, capital markets teams), and/or other relevant transactional intermediaries. Identifies and initiates
strategic transactions and provides transactional oversight

Your Profile
You should have a degree with minimum of 10 years” experience in one or more of the following asset classes: documentary trade finance, structured commodity finance, project finance. Local experience in APAC a strong plus. Experience in origination of Banking and/or Insurance Markets – complemented by practical experience in structuring and executing risk transfer solutions for Corporates and Banks. Proven track record for non standard insurance linked financial solutions. Proven leadership capabilities and Working experience in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment. You should also have established contacts and relationships in Asia Pacific.

Requirements:
