Edinburgh College is one of the largest colleges in Scotland and was formed as a result of the merger between Edinburgh’s Telford College, Jewel & Esk College and Stevenson College Edinburgh. The College has a turnover of £65million, 1,200 staff, and with over 35,000 students, it has the largest student body in Edinburgh.

This is an exciting time for Edinburgh College as they look to combine the strengths of all three Colleges and develop strong and vibrant vocational and educational programmes and form close links with employers and local universities. To support their vision moving forward, Edinburgh College wish to appoint a new Head of Business School who will be critical to the on-going success and sustainability of this progressive and forward thinking organisation.

Reporting to the Vice Principal Corporate Development, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of the Business School; its services, projects, people and finances. Providing strategic leadership, you will lead on the development of all commercial and funded training activities, developing collaborative partnerships both internally and externally to support growth. With responsibility for the management of business, management and entrepreneurial related curriculum, you will also oversee the selling and utilisation of the college’s assets and services.

This role offers a huge opportunity for the right individual to be a part of shaping this high profile organisation moving forward and requires a strategic and visionary leader with significant commercial acumen and previous experience in training delivery, curriculum development or project development and delivery. A creative thinker, who communicates both clearly and consistently, you will inspire and empower others with a clear and shared vision and have a proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
