1. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
To assist the Managing Director in overseeing the Project Department and responsible for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of project in line with project objectives, commitments and goals.
To evaluate and assess specialists and sub-contractors for engagements.
To plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor contractors’ and sub-contractors’ activities on site.
To liaise with clients and project consultants on all technical and contractual mailers and attend to site meetings.
Responsible for overall project risk assessment.
To lead and implement company policies and procedures on all project sites undertaken.
To develop standard operating procedures for project operations.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction/Project Management or equivalent,
At least 15 years working experience with demonstrated track record in managing high-valued projects.
Well versed in the knowledge of engineering, materials specification, usage & limitation, methodology of construction, contract, budgeting & costing and possess knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
Sound computer literacy with experience in MS Project, MS Office and AutoCAD,
Strong leadership qualities with sound organizational, planning and problem solving abilities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Resourceful and self-motivated individual with high sense of urgency and commitment and drive for excellence.
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning and risk management and proficient in English. Bahasa Malaysia in both written and spoken and able to converse in Mandarin and
Able to have an eye for details and meticulous in enforcing high standards of construction work.
2. PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
To lead and manage the project team in the coordination and management of development projects.
To monitor the contracts and ensure completion of the works within the approved budget and timeline.
To monitor and review the contractors’ program, progress and deliverables to ensure all requirements are fulfilled.
To establish and control all construction progress and ensuring all technical and engineering aspects of the building project meet customers’ and statutory requirements.
The candidate must be familiar with local authorities’ practices and regulations pertaining to development approvals, well versed with all laws governing property development laws, construction procedures, including management and security.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a diploma, degree, post graduate diploma, professional degree in Civil Engineering, construction management, quantity surveyor or equivalent.
At least eight years working experience in the related field is required by this position.
Required skills: AutoCAD. MS office. Ms Project
3. SITE SUPERVISORS
At least two years hands on experience in building and housing projects;
Ability to read technical drawings and prepare reports for the project managers;
Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with constriction drawings and contract specifications
Possess minimum a diploma/certificate in building construction, civil engineering or equivalent is an added advantage: and
Computer literate is preferred.
4. HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER / SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
Report to Project Manager and Management
Ensure compliance with all Regulation under the relevant Occupational Safety and Health Acts, as applicable to the site.
Ensure necessary notifications made to the relevant Statutory Authority under the legislation.
Planning, co-ordinate and conducted Health. Safety, Security & Environmental activities and program to be conducted at project site.
Requirements:
Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safely & Health or its equivalent:
Possess relevant certified competency certificate endorsed by DOSII;
Minimum or at least 5 years experience in building construction projects;
Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health related legislation, regulations and practices;
Must be a registered Safety & Health Officer with J KKP with a valid Yellow Book;
Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia, both written & spoken; and
Able to work independently.
