We seek an innovative and results-oriented academic to contribute to teaching, research, and other academic duties in Human Biology. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a systems approach to the teaching of Human Biology emphasising the integration of molecular, cellular and evolutionary biology with whole organ physiology. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, committed to collegial practice and to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.
Candidates should ideally have proven experience and successful track records of teaching and research within the UK HE sector.
Candidates will have a PhD in physiology, cell biology, immunology or a closely related field, together with relevant research or professional work experience. Specialist knowledge and skills, indicative of ability to teach in both specialist and generalist roles in Human Biology across the across the Applied Science curriculum is required.
A commitment to developing research and enterprise activities, and to enhancing professional practice, is required.
