Description

Medline has an immediate opening for an OR Product Specialist – Surgical Gloves. Candidate must live near an airport based in Ohio. This person will provide extensive knowledge and expertise to our sales department and customers regarding Medline’s Surgical Glove product line. Territory will include: Ohio, Western NY, Western PA, West Virginia and Kentucky. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and background in the healthcare industry and a desire to work for a fast-paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

The challenging responsibilities of the position include:

• Creates and conducts sales presentations regarding surgical gloves to multiple decision makers.
• Calls on health care facilities within assigned territory with Medline sales representatives to expand the sales of the products.
• Leads all customer product evaluations and implementations.
• Assists Medline sales reps with questions via email, phone calls or in person.
• Follows up with the customers and sales reps when evaluations/implementations are completed.
• Participates with division on overall product strategy, competitive analyses, research and development requirements as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor degree required
• 3 to 7 years related sales and/or marketing/product management experience required.
• OR or Hospital related sales experience preferred.
• Position will require up to 60% travel within assigned territory and ideally be based out of the Columbus, Ohio area.
• Strong presentation skills and effectively communicate to a sales organization and customers
• MS Office (Word and Excel) required
• Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow up skills required
