This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of Somerset’s major acute hospital.
We are seeking two high calibre non-executive directors to help steer the organisation through the challenges of the current economic and changing healthcare environment.

As well as being passionate about the NHS and its values, the ideal candidate will:

• have gained significant experience as a main board director (or equivalent) of a significant, complex private or public sector organisation;
• be a strategic thinker with demonstrable sound judgement, strong intellect and commercial acumen;
• display high emotional intelligence and the ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team, with a positive and constructive style and strong, influential communication skills.
