The focus is building advanced knowledge and clinical skills in nurses caring for surgical and medical patients and their families participating in a rehabilitation programme. To promote a culture of development and inquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical learning in Rehabilitation. The Clinical Nurse Educator will work together with the Nursing Unit Managers, Nurse Educator and the wider health service / facility team to plan and facilitate education programs. The Clinical Nurse Educator will be aware of the needs of staff and families and provide support and supervision to meet these needs.
