Scale new heights in Aluminium Rolling Industry
Oman Aluminium Rolling Company LLC (OARC). a new and competitive Aluminium rolled products industry company is undertaking a project to build a hot-rolling and cold-rolling facility targeted to light gauge aluminium products and based on a ‘twin-belt’ continuous casting process to produce 140 thousand tonnes of multi-purpose Rolled Aluminium Sheet. The plant will be located next to the Sonar Aluminium Smelter in Sohar Industrial Estate Area in the Sultanate of Oman from whom it will receive primary aluminium in liquid form as a basic feed-stock.
To assist in carrying out this project, OARC is seeking to engage highly qualified professionals with relevant experience, on a permanent basis, to participate in the management of the project and the development, acquisition and dissemination of the knowledge and expertise necessary to successfully operate such a facility as per the following specification
Job Title: Material Cataloguer
Qualifications and Experience Requirement
- Must have a Mechanical or Electrical back ground
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role with responsibility for cataloguing with Mechanical, Electrical Maintenance and General spares
- Experience and understanding of the principles NATO, UNSPC or Auslang or similar cataloguing classification procedure templates
- Excellent Excel experience.
- Sound knowledge & and understanding of how to change/manipulate cataloguing procedures to best fit CMMS needs for best need
- Be able to communicate with Trade and Supply Personnel.
Supervise and manage the Catalog Department.
- Set up cataloging policies and procedures.
- Perform final proofing of processed materials.
- Keep up to date knowledge of all aspects of cataloging and physical processing of materials.
- Update Cataloging Procedure Manual, as needed.
- Maintain Authority File.
Assistant Catalog
- Assist the Catalog Librarian in all computer related project.
- Assist the Catalog Librarian in supervising the department, setting up cataloging policy and carrying out catalog-related projects.
Catalog Technician
- Process newly acquired materials.
- Search, edit, export, and order catalog cards from OCLC.
- Retrieve exported records from imported file in Voyager.
- Save Bibliographic records; create holding and/or item records.
- Physically process materials (type label, mark and place label on items, place card pocket in item and type book card).

| Job Role | Scheduler will be responsible for generating daily and weekly production schedules for the manufacturing plant in consultation with demand planner and production superintendents. Working closely with the planning function, you will ensure timely scheduling and release of production orders across number of work centers- You will work cross-functionally and have the ability to engage across all operational disciples including purchasing, production, maintenance and technical/quality. |

Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Role
The role of ‘Project Engineers to assist the Project Manager in Completes engineering projects elements such as:
- Perform overall project control and reviews on activity, schedule, budget and design.
- Prepare justifications, scope of work, man-hour estimates for accommodating changes/modifications dunng design stage as well as during operation period.
- Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance and Procurement Department
- Prepare technical specification, invitation to bid, review, resolution and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience Requirement
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience. Knowledge of international codes and standards and experience with engineering software.
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experienceare essential
- Skills in AutoCADTraining highly desirable.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite
- Experience in Experience in working with multiple discipline projects is preferred.
