Robert Half Financial Services is seeking a diligent and meticulous Hedge Fund Accountant to handle audit, tax and other operational functions for a premier hedge fund in downtown SF. Primary responsibilities would include but would not be limited to:

-Fund operations dealing with CDS/Swaptions, meeting daily margin calls, and reviewing New Issue income allocations
-NAV, resolve cash position, reporting and breaks for 3rd party administrators
-Tax, tax planning and assist with annual audits

Ideal candidates should possess a degree in accounting/economics/finance and 2+ years experience in hedge fund accounting audits as well as partnership tax accounting. An extreme attention to detail, personal drive and strong work ethic are absolutely essential.

Our growing client in San Ramon seeks a part-time Senior Accountant on an interim basis. Hours are approximately 20-25 hours per week. Our consultant will be responsible for month-end close, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, consolidations, and preparation of audit work papers. Additionally, our consultant will work directly with the corporate controller assisting with the budget and forecast process, SEC filings and footnote disclosures. Recent experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and FRx is required. Public accounting experience highly desired.
