leadership of hosted environments The successful candidate will be results and quality oriented and interested in being highly productive in order to meet individual team and company goals

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
1) Work with our outsourced hosting provider to ensure efficient and smooth operation of our hosted production system including administration monitoring troubleshooting support and emergency response
2) Serve as incident manager and primary coordination point for 24×7 escalations of Hosting Environment issues and emergencies
3) Provide notification to all stake holders when performance or availability issues arise in the hosted production environment
4) Establish and manage operational policies to mitigate risk
5) Collaborate with management to establish acceptable operating criteria including the necessary budget planning
6) Manage capacity planning for production systems
7) Work closely in a teamoriented environment to define requirements cost timing and operational plans for future expansion and growth of production systems and their implementation
8) Vendor management of our hosting provider to insure SLA commitments are met including uptime performance resource availability change control redundancy etc
9) Ensure adequate procedures and technical infrastructures are in place for purposes of business continuity in case of disaster or prolonged production outages

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
1) Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience
2) 8+ years of handson experience in Technical Operations as a system administrator in a Unixcentric environment
3) Extensive commercial experience designing building and administering Internet hostnetwork services including but not limited to Web (http SSL Apache Tomcat etc) DNS Databases (Oracle) and Java
4) High degree of proficiency with UnixLinux system administration
5) Extensive experience managing datacentric webbased applications
7) Disciplined detail oriented and well organized with a strong background in operational methodology
8) Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to quickly determine root causes of problems and drive towards solutions
