Manage the design of innovative patient pathways for a new
Clinical Commissioning Group

The challenge
Advances in healthcare aren’t all about medicine. Sometimes, designing better ways to access care can be just as powerful. As a Chief Redesign Officer for one of two Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG), you’ll help us navigate our journey through changes to the NHS. Your energy and commitment to collaboration will be key to clinical pathway redesign.

The role
Building productive relationships with senior managers and a range of agencies across the region, you’ll help ensure best practice is identified, agreed and rapidly implemented. Specifically you will lead a pathway redesign team through significant projects, ensuring there is sufficient capacity and capability for the implementation of new patient pathways. Strategic leadership and support for GPs will also be key.

The person
Your background could be in the NHS or the private sector, but you will have worked at senior management level and will have substantial experience of leading and implementing change. This means building effective teams and networks across organisational boundaries, the ability to drive strategic direction and a willingness to engage rapidly with the NHS and CCG transition agenda.
Much depends on your inspirational leadership: decisive, resilient and charismatic, you’ll have exceptional relationship management skills and a strong commercial drive. You’ll combine a supportive, inclusive approach with a determination to deliver the best for our patients.
