The University is seeking to appoint an Administrative Officer to work within a challenging and rewarding environment. This post offers opportunities to build on existing HE administrative experience and to work with staff at all levels of the organisation.
The University’s Secretariat team is responsible for a broad portfolio of work offering the opportunity to build Higher Education experience not easily achievable elsewhere. The work of the Administrative Officers in the Secretariat includes senior committee support; senior management support; co-ordinating academic programme approval and review and other quality assurance administration.
A full list of competencies is detailed in the person specification however it is essential that you are educated to at least Degree level, have proven IT skills and are highly organised. Experience of providing support to committees and executive officers and of maintaining records/databases would be an advantage and previous experience of quality assurance in Higher Education would be desirable.
This post provides an excellent opportunity to demonstrate and develop your ability as an administrator in a role that is demanding and satisfying in equal measure.
