The Northampton Business School (NBS) is ambitious, confident and entrepreneurial. With 88% of our students registering overall satisfaction (source: ABS 2012) we are ranked in the top 30% of UK business schools on this measure and in the top 15% for our teaching, whilst over 95% of our graduates are in employment or further study six months after graduating (source: DLHE 2012). Our School is financially strong, and staff turnover is low.

NBS is dedicated to achieving an excellent student experience, as measured by student satisfaction, retention, performance and employability. We are externally facing, internationally oriented and actively engaged in a wide and growing range of enterprise, social enterprise, corporate education & training, and applied research activity. Our staff deliver programmes in four continents and embrace enterprising behaviours. We continue to grow, despite national concerns in our sector, overachieving in 2012-13 on both home and overseas student recruitment targets and international, enterprise and research income.

Following our considerable recent success, we invite applications from dedicated, ambitious team players who share our enterprising approach. For this post, you will have a demonstrable specialism in Organisation Behaviour although you can also expect to teach across our wider HRM provision including international and corporate delivery. A Doctorate in a cognate subject is highly desirable, as is an ability to teach research methods at postgraduate level. Alternatively you will have a Masters degree and significant relevant industry experience. In addition to teaching excellence you will also be expected to make a significant contribution in at least two of the following; corporate/executive education, overseas development and delivery, distance learning development and delivery,
applied research, consultancy and business development.
