At the heart of the University Research and Business engagement operations, this person will oversee the monitoring of a number of Regional and European External Projects being delivered by University Schools and Departments. You will also mentor and develop a Project Management Assurance team to provide technical support for this delivery and assure contract compliance of Regional and European projects.
You will have a First Degree and relevant experience of delivering or administering externally funded projects and, knowledge of economic and regeneration programmes. You will have excellent communication, organisational, presentation and problem solving skills and have good IT skills in word-processing, spreadsheets and database programmes. You will have the ability to understand figures and present data in a comprehensive manner when necessary work to tight deadlines.

We are now making preparations for even more of our research to be recognised as “world-leading”. In order to underpin these plans for the future the University wishes to recruit world-class individuals to a number of senior research appointments across key areas of the university’s portfolio. We are investing a further £6m in Research posts and £45m in improving our facilities including a new Business School and state-of-the-art science

Professor of International Business
The University is investing over 15 million pounds in a new building to house the Business School on our Wolverhampton City Campus. To coincide with this, UWBS is planning to significantly increase its capacity for world-class research in its core research areas and is seeking to appoint a number of senior researchers to lead this development.
These individuals will be expected to make a significant contribution to the REF in 2014 through a portfolio of internationally significant and world-leading publications and looking to the future, develop and lead areas of excellence in the School’s research clusters. They will grow our population of PhD students, develop diverse income streams to fund research activity and play a significant role in enhancing the international reputation of the School. They will act as inspirational leaders of our research community as well as delivering a research-informed curriculum aligned with UWBS’s research strengths and market demand.
