OFFSHORE RADIO OPERATOR (SABAH & SARAWAK)

  • Focal point for all telecommunication and network related matters at site
  • Key in site emergency response team member responding to emergencies as per company emergency response procedure
  • Carries out functional tests of all telecom and weather monitoring equipment and provide first line maintenance support
  • Maintain record of Telecom Operations and Emergency Log Book
  • Report to operation Installation Manager (OIM) on operation related matters and to IT Customer services Centre On telecommunication and network matters
  • Provide general administration support at the location
  • Minimum at least 3 years working experience as an Offshore Radio Operator
  • Must have experience in handling emergency telephone call for emergency situations such as offshore medical evacuation, drill and real emergency situation
  • Must have experience in handling radio communication with offshore vessel and helicopters
  • Must process valid medical passport and HUET/BOSET Bidders to submit Certificates or evidence
  • Must possess valid Global Marine Distress Signal System (GMDSS)
  • Basic salary RM6K with allowances
