About the Job
Under the general supervision of the Sales/Marketing Manager, provide assistance and perform a variety of duties in support of Sales Administration/Customer Service activities. Prepare reports, maintain records and files, receive and direct outside calls and relieve general and product sales managers of routine detail work. Position involves telephone contact coordinating customers with field sales and internal personnel.

Outline of Primary Job Requirements:

  1. Generates quotes, coordinates order entry, communicates order requirements to appropriate departments/personnel and serves as liaison between customer and manufacturing/support departments to identify product availability and lead times.
  2. Ensure reports, orders, changes, follow-up requests, returns/credits (RMA’s), sales order/shipping documentation are coordinated accurately and promptly.
  3. Assist in Contract/Terms and Conditions review through RFQ and PO Acceptance/Acknowledgement process. Log/maintain all necessary paperwork through PO completion.
  4. Coordinate licensing activities for export sales and assist in scheduling international deliveries.
  5. Prepare routine reports we well as handle customer contact/correspondence as directed.
  6. Support packing and shipping operations as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Possess solid PC skills (Microsoft Office and exposure to an ERP system, preferably Syteline/Infor) and at least 5 years experience supporting Sales Adminstration/Customer Service in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong organizational and communications skills. Ability to convey a positive, customer-first attitude at all times and work with a very diverse product line with numerous SKU’s.
  3. Knowledge of defense contract requirements preferred.
  4. US citizenship required.
  5. Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check prior to starting.
