Post name: Finance Executive
Locations:- Bintulu, Sarawak
Responsibilities:

To assist in month end closing, general ledger activities and reporting including preparing monthly schedule and analysis
To prepare month-end journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve and issues arising
To assist in preparation for audit and taxation
To maintain fixed assets register including recording newly acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets
Perform physical sighting on assets and inventory count
To report to head office
To train and guide junior staff in their daily work
To review the work of junior staff (both finance and operations)
To review stock documentation and payments
To perform any other ad-hoc tasks
Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent
At least 1-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Sound knowledge in accounting software and MS Excel
Knowledge iMill/iECS would be an added advantage
Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and exhibit a patient demeanor
Strong in organization and time management skills
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Finance – General/ Cost Accounting or equivalent.
