Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients ensuring quality service, advice and overview
• Prepare, analyze, review financial reports, statements and regulatory reporting documents
• Mentorship and supervision of junior staff
• Assist the Directors and staff in preparing documents and interpreting complicated financial information for the organization and clients and work with regulatory bodies
• Manage a varied portfolio of clients ensuring quality, timely service
• Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, stakeholders
• Prepare/ review monthly, quarterly or yearly tax and regulatory preparations (VAT, EMS, FNPF, etc) to meet deadlines

Requirements and Qualifications:-

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field or working towards completion of degree
• Chartered Accountant (not required but preferred)
• 5+ years of experience as an accountant
• Proficient with MYOB/ Zero or similar software, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams/Zoom, Viber
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, Fiji tax laws, standards, and regulations

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
