American International College Position: Librarian

Required Experience and Skills:-

• Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited school or an ALA-approved foreign equivalent.
• Five to seven years of progressive experiences in leading a contemporary academic library, preferably in a college or college.
• Evidence of introducing innovative and effective library services and developing collections preferred.
• Evidence of effective collaboration with faculty in the development of digital and traditional library collections.
• Experiences in coordinating and overseeing archive collections.
• Experiences in the development, management and oversight of library budgets.
• Experience in leading a strategic planning process.
• Evidence of active participation in professional library associations and/or consortia
