* We have immediate vacancies for two Teaching Assistants lo support the work of our Faculties as we strive to further improve standards. The main role will be to provide in class support, help plan for differentiation, and work with students on a one-to-one basis.
* You will have knowledge of techniques that help students to access the curriculum, support their learning and development and ensure their safety.
* You must be a team player, organized, versatile and who is able to motivate young people. You will have high expectations of students’ achievement and behavior, and be an effective communicator. You will also have knowledge of techniques that help students to access the curriculum and succeed.

* Start date: 1st September 2017.
* We have a vacancy for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support the work of our Faculties as we strive to further improve standards. The main role will be to direct the learning of students in the absence of a teacher, creating and maintaining a purposeful and orderly learning environment for students. To check that students’ have appropriate equipment and materials to enable them to complete the tasks set and answering students* questions about process and procedures. To support expectations of student behavior in the classroom, securing appropriate standards of discipline and ensuring that the Academy’s behavior management policy is adhered to.

* You will be employed on a fixed term contract from September 2017 to 31st August 2018, with a view to possibly becoming a permanent position.
