Post Name:- Accountant

General:-

The Accountant is responsible for planning implementing and executing accepted accounting principles/standards and procedures to prepare, analyse and provide advice on the company’s financial information & transactions on a timely and accurate manner with appropriate accounting control procedures.

The person is also responsible to provide prudent financial advice to the directors of the company and identify ways and means to optimize cost savings in all aspects and optimize operating profit.

The job:-

1.  Prepare, compile & analyze financial information to generate financial statements including monthly and annual accounts on a timely and accurate manner
2. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with established accepted standards, policies & procedures
3. Make certain all financial reporting deadlines are met
4. Prepare financial management reports
5. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing processes are done accurately
6. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
7. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities speedily
8. Implement a budgetary & control processes including guiding all business unit heads how in developing a sound and accurate operating budget and budget for capital expenditure
9. Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities
10. Ensure that all financial transactions adhere to Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri requirements
11. Implement prudent and effective tax planning
12. Develop, maintain and secure financial databases with proper regular and effective data back-up in different locations
13. Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit processes
14. Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
15. Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments future revenues
16. Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
17. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data
18. Implement continuous improvement processes to increase efficiencies, productivities and accuracies. This may include identifying evaluating, selecting and implementing of a suitable integrated business systems.
19. Responsible to recruit train, develop, supervise, appraise and terminate subordinates with direct reporting line.

The Person:-

1.  Accounting degree or equivalent with preference in CPA or Malaysian Institute of CPA and equivalent
2. A minimum of 5 years work experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice
3. Working knowledge in the following areas:
   a. generally accepted accounting practices and principles
   b. economic principles
   c auditing practices and principles
   d applicable laws, codes and regulations
   e. accounting software (preferably having working experience in using ERP software – Enterprise Resource Planning)
4. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the sales and servicing of vehicles (automotive industry -35 center)

Post Name:- Assistant Accountant

The Job

1.  The Assistant Accountant is responsible to assist the Accountant/HOD of Finance department to discharge his/her duties which include:
   a) The maintenance of financial and accounting records in accordance with accepted amounting standards, policies and procedures.
   b) The preparation and submission of financial management and other report returns to the Board of Directors, financial institutions, auditors, tax and other authorities.
   c) Financial planning and management of working capital & banking facilities.
2. Supervision of accounting staff

The Person

1.  Accounting degree or equivalent, preference will be given to members of MIA, MICPA and other professional accounting bodies.
2. A minimum of 5 years work experience in a senior accounting /finance position.
3. Working knowledge in the following areas:
   a. generally accepted accounting practices and principles
   b. auditing practices and principles
   c. applicable laws, codes and regulations
   d. GST returns
   e. accounting software
4. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in the sates and servicing of vehicles (automotive industry – 35 Center)
