With a focus on promoting the continued improvement within finance and guiding the performance of the team, we are seeking a Coordinator as the first point of contact for the finance staff. You will be maintaining the integrity of financial systems and reporting, mentoring more junior staff and establishing a culture of best practice and inclusivity within the team. You will also be acting in accordance with the New South Wales Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017 and the Work Health and Safety Management (WHS) System.

You must have a degree in accounting, qualification as a Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant, high level experience with financial accounting systems, attention to detail and ownership of the financial aspects of the long-term financial plan and budgets and reviews, experience in leading a team to meet their objectives in a financial environment, negotiation and influencing skills aimed for senior levels of staff to meet financial objectives and a Driver’s Licence. Local Government experience in a Finance team and extensive knowledge of relevant provisions and legislation would be advantageous.

There will also be alcohol, drug and random testing during the pre- employment phase.

Salary Range:- $1,996.10 to $2,235.70 pw (Grade 19) 35-hour working week, leaseback vehicle, leave entitlements, 95% employer superannuation contribution, gym membership discounts and more.

Using your accuracy skills and background in accounting, join our Finance section as an asset specialist. You will be ensuring that the Fixed Assets and Leased Assets are recorded correctly in the sub and general ledger, ensuring the effective quality of financial information and act in accordance with the New South Wales Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017 and the Work Health and Safety Management (WHS) System. You must have a degree in accounting or related discipline, high level experience in accounting or related field and a Driver’s Licence.

Salary Range:- $1,536.80 to $1,721.10 pw (Grade 14). 35-hour working week, leave entitlements. 9.5% employer superannuation contribution, gym membership discounts and more
