Senior Heavy Machinery / Equipment Technician Job Vacancy at Boustead Sdn Bhd

Post Name: Senior Heavy Machinery / Equipment Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform inspection of heavy machinery (forklift / bulldozers / cranes / graders / etc) & Trucks to ensure it is working properly, detect faults and malfunctions
2. Diagnosing faults and malfunctions using diagnostic software tools and other testing equipment to determine parts to be replaced
3. Produce reports of faults and malfunctions
4. Perform repair works, adjustment or replacement using power tools
5. Testing equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufactures specifications.
6. Perform routine maintenance work on equipment such as cleaning, lubrication and etc
7. Be on call for offsite jobs for equipment or trucks down at site.

Requirement

1. Preferably candidates with past work experience in handling heavy machinery or trucks
2. Diploma in heavy machinery, automotive technician, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers or any other relevant qualifications
3. Must have a class 3 driving license (Passenger Vehicles) and will be an added advantage for candidates with class 5 driving license (Driving Trucks)
4. Must be able to write and speak English for reporting purposes and able to communicate in English and Malay.
5. Must be flexible to work over regular hours and on call for emergency jobs
6. Must be a team player as there will be junior members under the candidates
