Accountant, Accounts Executive job offer at Cahya Mata Sarawak CMS
Post Name: Accountant (CMS Works Sdn Bhd)
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Oversees operation of accounts functions
- Responsible for regulatory and management financial reporting include consolidation of accounts
- Tax planning and compliance with Statutory on tax matters
- Ensuring optimum cash flow management
- Annual Budgeting, Forecasting and Feasibility Studies
- Financial and Costing Analysis, Reporting, and Compliance with Accounting Standards
- Preparation of Board Circular Resolution and Board papers
Requirements for Accountant:
- Degree in Accounting or professional qualification ACCA/CPA or equivalent and a member of MIA
- Preferably 3-5 years of working experience in Investment Holding, Construction & Road Maintenance Industries or related working experience in audit
- Possess computerized accounting software knowledge. Knowledge of IFCA software will be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- Proficient in written & spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Able to work independently, self-initiated & self-motivated

Responsibilities of Accounts Executive
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting and maintenance of a full set of accounts
- Ensure accurate recording of all revenue and expenses in the financial statements
- Ensure accurate and timely, monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing within strict deadlines
- Responsible for compiling annual budget
- Responsible for preparing tax estimate and handle taxation related matters
- Assist in the consolidation of accounts and preparation of notes to the consolidated Accounts
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time
Accounts Executive Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or professional qualification ACCA/CPA and a member of MIA
- At least 3 years working experience in the construction sector
- Familiar in MFRSs
- Preferably working experience in audit
- Knowledge of IFCA software is an added advantage
- Good interpersonal/communication skills (both verbal & Written)
- Able to work independently, result-oriented & self-motivated
