Pacific Advance Composites Sdn Bhd (PACSB) is a fully owned subsidiary of Dialog Group Bhd which is listed on Bursa Malaysia’s Main Board. PACSB’s core business is in FRP composites piping which covers engineering, manufacturing, shop fabrication and site installation servicing in the oil & gas and petrochemical industry.
We are looking for suitable candidates who seek challenging and exciting careers to join us at our Nilai manufacturing plant, Kota Kinabalu office and onshore/offshore Sabah/Sarawak.

Post Name:- Project Engineer (1 Vacancy)

Key Accountabilities:-

• Report to the Project Manager and support project execution to minimize project challenges/ issues and ensure the project is delivered on time
• Liaise with clients on project matters
• Prepare work packs and participate in work pack challenges
• Prepare material take off from drawings for manufacturing, fabrication and site installation works
• Conduct and prepare survey reports and close out reports
• Coordinate and liaise with the Nilai FRP manufacturing plant to ensure project materials, FRP spools shop fabrication, tools box, chemicals and consumables are sent to the job site for installation works on a timely manner
• Liaise with the site installation team to ensure the project is completed on time
• Oversee project progress monitoring and report preparation
•  Review engineering designs, drawings, requirements and submissions to client for approval and ensure compliance to project requirements
• Coordinate with the Piping Engineer to ensure submission of surge reports and piping stress reports on time

Requirements:

•  Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
•  Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in the oil & gas environment with at least 3 years in FRP composite piping
• Familiar with FRP piping systems, preferably FIBERBOND* Advance Composite piping system
• Flexible and able to travel frequently to project sites
• Physically fit for the offshore environment and possess a valid BOSEIT certification

Post Name:- QC Inspector (3 Vacancies)

Key Accountabilities:

•  Conduct inspections and verifications on FRP raw materials and chemicals bought out items as well as review Material Test Certificates (MTC). Certificates and analysis in accordance to the required specifications
• Carry out QC inspections and report preparation for FIBERBOND FRP pipes & fittings manufacturing and spools fabrication in accordance to the required specifications
• Interface and coordinate with clients on QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities
• Prepare QC procedures and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) according to project requirements and client specifications
• Plan inspections and reviews of QC performance
• Undertake the preparation of Final Handing Over dossier and maintain proper filling systems (as per Company procedures) with full traceability for retrieving the document

Requirements:-

•  Diploma in Engineering
•  Experience in FRP piping manufacturing/fabrication with minimum 3 years’ experience in quality control, especially in FRP piping
• Familiar with FRP piping systems, preferably FIBREBOND Advance Composite piping system
