Everrise Departmental Store Sdn Bhd, one of the largest and fastest growing retailers, wishes to seek committed and energetic individual to join the team as:-

Post Name:– Accountant

Key Responsibilities:-

•  Responsible for accurate and timely preparation and submission of financial statement and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance of statutory requirements, company policies and procedures, and accounting standards.
• Continuous improvement in financial reporting processes.
• Handle treasury matters and cash flow planning.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns, including SST returns.
• Liaise with authorities, external auditors and bankers on finance related issues.
• Develop and implement appropriate internal controls, including management of stock/inventory to minimize wastage/pilferage and other losses.
• Assist in preparation of Budget.
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Key Requirements:-

•  Minimum ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Member of accountancy professional bodies eg. ACA, ACCA. CPA, MIA or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of working experience in relevant field
• Experience in retail industry is an added advantage.
• Strong financial analysis and presentation skill, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and able to observe confidentiality.
