Goldington Academy is a very successful school in Bedford. The school serves an established area to the north-east of Bedford town centre and currently has 690 children on roll. The school is embarking on an exciting journey to become a secondary school starting in September 2017 and we seek a number of key personnel to join our dedicated, friendly and dynamic team.
The school, which is very well resourced with interactive facilities in each teaching space, has been rated good by Ofsted.

Goldington Academy Job Openings for Teachers and Cover Supervisor

Post Name: Maths Teacher Temporary (maternity cover)
The successful candidate will be well qualified, and passionate about inspiring and educating our students. The post is full-time, for the duration of our colleague’s maternity leave, and suitable for primary or secondary trained teachers.

Post Name: Cover Supervisor
30.8 hours per week during term time Level 3, points 18 to 21 (£13,024 to £14,515)
We invite applications from enthusiastic, energetic individuals to join our dedicated and friendly staff team at this highly regarded school.
This role involves supervising learning where the designated teacher is unavailable, which has proved an ideal introduction to education for graduate applicants considering teaching as a career.
Post Name: Lunchtime Supervisor
1 hour 10 minutes per day, 5 days per week during term time Level 2, points 10 to 13 (£2,100 to £2,232 actual)
The successful candidate will positively affect the performance of the existing team, providing support and supervision for our students over the lunch hour.
