Lead Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor jobs at GPS

Post Name: Lead Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor
Qualification:
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/QS Degree
Experience:
• Shall have minimum 15 years relevant work experience in pre and post contract management of which 10 years in a similar position and in middle East Oil & Gas environment
Responsibility of Lead Cost Engineer / Quantity Surveyor at GPS:

• Provide Cost Engineering services including review of bids and quotations from Vendors and evaluate and award.
• Responsible for producing Control Cost Estimates.
• Providing Design personnel with Cost Estimate input.
• Provide post contract management “quantity surveying services” in oil and gas industry.
• Preparing the monthly valuations and final accounts against contract terms and conditions including site visits to carry out measurements.
• Establishment of star rates, providing commercial/contractual site information in preparation of variations.
• Evaluating claims submitted by sub-contractors
