Based in our Bell Block, New Plymouth offices this Graduate role provides technical and engineering assistance to multi-disciplinary teams including petroleum, reservoir, drilling, process and chemical engineering. This role would suit someone who has recently graduated and looking for a prosperous career in a petroleum/mining/production industry

Key Responsibilities

1. Undertaking engineering projects.
2. Assist and support asset production optimization through appropriate reservoir management studies.
3. Assist and support asset reserves growth through appropriate subsurface studies.
4. Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of engineering policies, standards and procedures.
6. Effectively, efficiently and proactively carry out administrative tasks required to support day to day operations.

Knowledge and Education:

• Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Frequent use and general knowledge of engineering systems practices, techniques, and standards.
• Effective computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• The ability to think laterally, analyse and solve problems.
• Strong organisational skills in relation to planning, record keeping, administration and the meeting of deadlines.
