Job vacancies for Civil Resident Engineers Inspector at KBCS Sarawak

Post Name:Resident Engineers
Number of post: 05 (15 months contract)

Water Supply Project – SAWAS 2 Northern Region (Interior area of Bintulu, Miri and Limbang)

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering registered with BEM
• Minimum 5 years working experience in site supervision of construction. Experience in water supply project will be an added advantage.
• Responsible for the following up on instruction & commitments associated with the project.
• To make sure project adhere/comply to all government and industry standards and guidelines
• Supervise and monitor the works being carried out by Contractors.
• Liaises with internal and external stakeholders including contractor and local authorities to facilitate the construction activities

Remuneration:

• Monthly Salary from RM 4,600 to RM 6,670
• Monthly site allowance RM 950 (upon approval from client)

Post Name: Inspector Of Works
Number of post: 07 (15 months contract)

Water Supply Project – SAWAS 2 Northern Region (Interior area of Bintulu, Miri and Limbang)

Job Requirement:

• Recognized Diploma or Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of supervising C&S works.
• Some knowledge / experience in geo-technical /earthworks / water supply would be advantageous
• Reports to Resident Engineer
• Full time standing supervision of works
• Adhere and implement Quality Assurance requirements, procedures, and policies to daily work scope

Remuneration:

• Monthly Salary from RM 2,250 to RM 3,700
• Monthly site allowance RM 800 (upon approval from client)

Post Name: Civil Engineer
Number of post: 01 (Permanent Position)
Design Office (Based in Kuching)

Job Requirement for Civil Engineer:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, registered with BEM
• Minimum 5 years working experience in civil design, particularly in drainage and hydrology.
• Experience in authority submission (L&S, DID, councils, etc.) Knowledge of national and local statutory requirements
• Able to work beyond office hours to meet project deadlines.
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Liaising with clients, government agencies and other professionals
• Resolving design and development problems.
• Making sure the project complies with respective engineering codes and statutory requirements
