Our client is a significant player in Fiji’s corporate sector, with a reputation for delivering outstanding service, business excellence and quality. The organization is committed to implementing forward-thinking strategies to ensure that it meets its business and commercial objectives.
The organization is now seeking to engage an experienced strategically focused professional to the position of Head of Global Sales.

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of sales, revenue generation, customer acquisition, and market penetration aimed at growing the Company’s revenue.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Propose and agree a comprehensive sales strategy that exploits the position of the business in its target markets and builds its account base in its target segments with an active sales pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Management team to develop the annual revenue budget by point of sale, channel and route.
  • Develop and implement a sales skills enhancement program, which includes sales management methods and techniques.
  • Build overall team capability, factor in adequate business continuity and create succession plans for key roles.
  • Set and control the cost and revenue budgets for the global sales team in conjunction with Finance.
  • Manage the call center operations to drive excellent customer service experience.

Qualifications and experience

  • Must have significant international sales experience in a hospitality and/or an airline industry.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in aviation, hospitality management, business, or economics. A relevant masters or post graduate degree is desirable.
  • Strong intellect with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and strong management skills.
  • Must display high standards of personal ethics and integrity.
