Leighton Middle School seeking for Head of Art and Design Technology

Leighton Middle School is a very successful 9-13 Middle School located in the centre of Leighton Buzzard with unique buildings and grounds.
– Leighton Middle School is a popular and successful 9 -13 middle school that is situated in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. The Governors are looking to appoint someone to lead our Art and Technology Department from Easter 2019 or earlier.

Required to start Easter 2019 or earlier

The successful candidate will lead a small team of teachers who teach Art and Food Technology. Alongside this, it would be preferred if the successful candidate is able to teach the Resistant Materials elements of the curriculum.

The departments benefit from good specialist room provision and equipment. In KS3 pupils engage in Technology in smaller practical groups. Our pupils are well motivated and enjoy the practical challenges that Technology and Art provides.

The post would be suitable for Primary. Middle or Secondary practitioners. We welcome visits to the school.
