An opportunity exists immediately for a safety committed Financial Analyst to join our Finance Department.

Post Name:- Financial Analyst

Location:- Castlegar, BC

Reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst the responsibilities will include:-

•  Supporting Management and Supervision with financial planning.
• Working alongside the Information Technology Department to ensure Celgar’s business systems are meeting the Mill’s needs.
• Promoting and supporting cost accountability and identifying opportunities.
• Assisting with internal controls testing and advising stakeholders accordingly.

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications and abilities:-

•  Degree (B.Sc./BA) or Diploma in Business
• 1-3 years of progressive experience
• Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA.) Designation or working towards
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and Accounting-specific software and systems (ie, SAP, Avantis, and SQL)
