Role
As head of business strategy and implementation, the role will broadly encompass increasing enterprise and shareholder value by driving efficiencies in existing businesses and by delivering growth through expansions and new business.
Job
The job involves corporate business strategy; leading and operational zing acquisitions, mergers and takeovers; identifying and operational zing new business opportunities; supporting resources planning and distribution networks; financial planning and establishing sound financial discipline; creating plans and getting approvals; and interacting with financial institutions, government and semi-government authorities for funding, clearances, and general support.
This is essentially a corporate job and entails the above for multiple Business Units.

Person Profile
We are looking for a person with entrepreneurial acumen and sound knowledge of financial controls, analysis, and corporate procedures. Experience in financial institutions and / or managing SMEs and Banks will be added advantages. Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be a postgraduate in economics, corporate finance, or management.
